Located a couple of hundred kilometers inland from the Mozambique coastline, Coutada 11 offers exceptional hunting for Cape buffalo in two biomes; the floodplains and swamps of the Zambeze River delta and in sub-tropical forests. Indigenous sable, nyala, chobe bushbuck, Livingston eland, Crawshay zebra, giant waterbuck, bushpig, and outstanding numbers of the Tiny 10 antelope are found in abundance.

This is not a budget hunt. It’s a proper safari deep into the African bush, which comes with vast logistical challenges. As a result, you won’t come to Coutada 11 and shoot 10 animals in a package deal for under $10k. However, you’ll experience premier hunting in a land that’s remained largely unchanged for millenniums. The camp is a traditional tented safari camp with a few luxuries that just push it over the cusp into the realm of Glamping, so you can bring your spouse and be assured they’ll love the experience.
